Clavius at Tonarium

A project created by Daniele Ledda — a composer and lecturer in electronic music at the Cagliari Conservatory. It is based on a family of original instruments inspired by John Cage’s concept of the “prepared piano”. CLAVIUS explores the connection between the analogue and digital worlds, developing the idea of preparing instruments and creating a new concept of an extended instrument that can be played with a keyboard.

The concert is co-financed by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Cracovia.
