BANNERS & clue. at Qubus Hotel Katowice
In the lobby of the Qubus Hotel, our partner for this event, you can experience BANNERS and clue.
BANNERS by Ksawery Komputery
A series of collectible light objects, first presented at the RRGGBB exhibition at CICA Vancouver.
The project began with the discovery of a unique optical effect: placing a specific type of frosted glass in front of a large-pixel LED panel infuses the light with an extraordinary, almost three-dimensional depth. We spent nearly a year developing this technique, experimenting with materials, light, and generative imagery. The result is a series of ten unique works.
Each object operates on its own dedicated code, generating infinite, constantly changing color compositions. The pieces measure 132 × 20 × 6 cm and are enclosed in aluminum housings that can be displayed vertically, horizontally, or suspended from the ceiling.
The housings are available in seven color variants: red, green, blue, white, light gray, dark gray, and raw aluminum.

clue. is not a static lamp. The animation embedded in each object is fully generative—driven by an algorithm that calculates every single frame independently. This creates an organic, color-radiating visualization that is virtually unique at any given moment.
The circular, gradient form of the animation was inspired by the work of Wojciech Fangor, a 20th-century Polish artist renowned for his mesmerizing, concentric color fields. clue. borrows this visual structure, while the palette and movement remain entirely original.
