Workshop #4: New Media in Practice. From Artistic Vision to Project Structure at ASP

Can an ambitious new media art project become a well-designed response to real social and market needs? How can interactive installations, generative art or VR be combined with the practical requirements of grant applications? During the workshop participants will go through the entire process: from artistic concept to preparing a coherent project structure.

What you will learn:

a) audience-oriented design — using the design thinking methodology to match technologies such as AI, mapping or AR/VR to the real needs, motivations and challenges of audiences;

b) creating effective grant applications — how to translate artistic ideas into the language of project goals, outcomes and indicators, and the logic of funding programmes, including those of the Ministry of Culture;

c) building a project structure — completing an original Grant Project Canvas, developing all the key elements of the project, from an appealing title and budget to clearly defined success indicators.
